Service Description

Finnmark lies directly beneath the auroral belt, which means the Northern Lights can appear regardless of solar activity. Dark nights far from city lights provide the best viewing experiences. The Northern Lights season runs from October 1 to April 1. Viddas Sønn offers tours tailored to each individual group. The starting point is transport by UTV or snowmobile (with or without a sled) from Sirma onto the Laksfjord Plateau. The tours can be arranged in combination with overnight stays on the plateau, or shorter tours can be organized without overnight accommodation. Group size: 2–4 people Catering: Available upon request Prices: Overnight stay in a lavvu / tent / simple cabin: From NOK 1,500 per person Transport: From NOK 1,000 per person per hour (minimum transport cost NOK 2,000)
